Field to Fork Community Farm will be doing a demonstration in Back Yard Farming at The ACE Diabetes Get On Track Expo on Saturday November 8 at The New Providence Community Center.

Field to Fork Community Farm is a family-run farm whose aim is to provide the local market with the best quality of locally grown produce. They are committed to using sustainable and innovative production practices that protect the environment and consumer health. They grow and test crops from around the world that will perform well in the Bahamian climate to provide consumers with a wider variety of fresh vegetables, and to expose farmers and home gardeners to new crops.

There will be lots more happening at the ACE Diabetes Get On Track Expo – loads of prizes and giveaways, a grand raffle, demonstrations in fitness and cooking, Ask the Experts, free health screenings and more
